1988, 314sqn Eindhoven In preparation for the 75th anniversary of the Dutch Air Force in 1988 was an idea of a synchro team of two NF-5A’s(Double Dutch). The painting was inspired by the F-16 demo colors. The usual wing tanks were replaced by sidewinder rails, with one “smokeswinder” mounted on one of the rails. Double Dutch stopped at the end of 1988, because of a discussion about two crashes earlier that year (Ramstein & Klein Brogel).
